๐Ÿ‘‰ Go to Donโ€™t Go Down the Rabbit Hole - The New York Times

This advise captures how I tend to deal with information online. I purposefully do not engage in fringe type content that I perceive as trying to pull my attention, and engagement. If I find myself on a website and it starts to tickle some of my senses about misinformation, I will usually do a whois lookup on the domain name. If it is hidden or anonymous, I leave the site immediately, with the one exception being a personal blog. The overall approach of lateral reading is a good one, but watch out for very broad sets of misinformation that have established a lateral reinforcing network. Stay safe out there! ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™€๏ธ
